The layout is quite compact; it felt a bit cramped for two adults and two children. There was an issue with the bathroom fan switch, it would sometimes turn on and sometimes not.
Eating and shopping were super convenient. The biggest supermarket in town, New World, along with a pizza place and a few other restaurants, were all within walking distance.
Wi-Fi signal was excellent, the shower had great water pressure, and there were plenty of heating options.

The hotel and room facilities are very good. Also the spa pool. The town, in July, has nothing attractive, but as a base for doing tongariro and other excursions it is fine
